Five Key Steps to Selecting Quality Wall Panels
With more and more wall panel applications on the market, people are getting more and more confused about how to choose a good quality wall panel. SEEING
Observe the appearance and shape. Observe the color, thickness, and structure of the wall panels. High-quality wall panels are generally beige, which tends to be the color of bamboo and wood; there are no black spots or particles and other impurities at the incision. If the color is black, there are spots, or there are tiny holes in the incision section, it may be made of recycled materials or waste materials, which is not environmentally friendly and it is not durable; if the color is white, add too much calcium powder and the toughness of the board is not enough; the thickness of the board should be 9-10mm.
TOUCHING
Touch the board, whether the front and back boards are smooth, and whether there is any prickly feel. Weigh the weight of the board by hand, if it is too light, the foaming will be serious, if it is too heavy, it means adding too much calcium powder.
SMELLING
The normal board smells close to the nostrils, with a faint bamboo and wood fragrance. When burning, there is no open flame, and it is self-extinguishing when it is away from the fire. It has a light bamboo and resin smell, while the inferior board smells an obvious PVC stench.
FOLDING
Choose a 3-meter-long plate and try to bend it. If it can form a circle at 360 degrees, it means that the toughness and quality are up to standard. The board can be bent at 90 degrees during installation, and the inferior board is too brittle and will crack and break.
TRAVELING
Investigate production equipment, qualifications, scale and product types, and check whether there is a product qualification inspection report issued by an authoritative organization.
